Flugverhalten Vegas 2014 -> 2015 ?

Hat schon jemand den neuen Vegas geflogen und kann was zum veränderten Flugverhalten sagen? Sowohl mit 5 als auch mit 6 Leinen soll sich ja einiges geändert haben.

Kite size 12 m, lines were 24 m and I flew it on the regular 5th line setting. There is no difference between the Won't Stop design and the Headlow version except the graphics. You can also ride the Won't stop edition with the new 6th line setup (Headlow setting). In the past I have always been riding the vegas (since the first one came out in 2006). Now, I would say that the 2011/2012/2013 and 2014 vegas were pretty similar in terms of handling. The 2015 is a big change and has a completely different feeling. You can definitely feel that Headlow had a huge influence on the design. I has become just a freestyle/competition kite. The steering is very delayed, quite hard bar pressure as well. There is quite a big ground pull from the kite. Shifting the bar up and down has almost no effect. Therefore the wind range is probably not as big as with previous models. For somebody that is just into freestyling/wakestyling I could recommend the kite. For somebody that enjoyed the big versatility of previous models I would not recommend it. Probably the new dice would be the better option. Curious to read about other opinions on the new vegas.. Cheers.

For those curious, I have two bits of feedback on the 2015 Vegas. The first is from our international team guys. They absolutely love the redesign. They've been asking for a more 'hardcore' freestyle/wakestyle kite for a while and now they have it. They say that on the standard 5-line bar that we've had for years that the Vegas remains freeride friendly enough for old Vegas lovers to still enjoy it. Then there are a couple other setups that make the kite progressively more aggressive and tuned for advanced riding.

The second bit of feedback I have is from a quick session I got on one of the 'medium-hard-core' settings, and I think I have to agree with Westozzy's review... It's considerably more advanced and less forgiving than past Vegas's. Sheeting in and out has much less effect on the power of the kite, but when you get the right pop and do everything correctly the kite really rewards you with great slack. A good raley feels REALLY good, but it's a bit harder to get it, and when you screw up it lets you know. I did not get a chance to ride the kite in the 'freeride' setup, but I would be very surprised if it really is as freeride-friendly as previous Vegas' have been.

also ich habe ihn in 12 und 9qm geflogen und kann keinen gravierenden unterschied feststellen.
der neue hat mehr anknüpfpunkte, diese braucht aber meiner meinung nach kein mensch.

Fliege aktuell das 2013er modell und und würde wenn ich nen neuen bräuchte zum 2013er oder 2014 greifen.

Habe ich in 7qm der loop geil bei 30 knt plus

Es ist das einzig richtige um den Wechsel von Hadlow zu North richtig zu vermarkten.
Fakt ist halt dass obwohl die wenigsten so einen reinrassigen Wettkampfschirm brauchen, es eben doch viele Leute gibt die ihn so wollen wie Hadlow ihn fährt.

Außerdem war ich in DK diesen Sommer auch erstaunt wie viele Leute da mit Boots oder einfach rein auf Freestyle unterwegs waren und das gar nicht so schlecht. Nicht nur der 2015 Vegas war vertreten, auch eine Testserie von weißen Core-Protos - haben eher ein wenig an alte Units erinnert...
