Umbau North Evo Bar auf North 5th Element Bar - Tipps?

Hallo zusammen,

ich brauch mal Eure Hilfe. Hat jemand zufällig eine Anleitung rumliegen oder kennt eine irgendwo im Netz, in der gut zu erkennen ist wie ich genau eine Evo Vier-Leiner-Bar auf eine 5th-Element Bar umbaue. Eine gute verbale Beschreibung würde auch reichen. Bin mir bei dem Umbau doch leicht unsicher. Ich habe leider auch keine zweite 08er 5th-Element Bar rumliegen.

Ich war schon bei North auf der Seite, aber da finde ich nur die Manuals zu den einzelnen North-Produkten. Eine genaue Beschreibung zur Bar hab ich leider nicht gefunden.

So Nachtrag,

also ich habe die Bar jetzt versucht mit der füntften Leine zu versehen. Leider haben jetzt die fünfte, die Depower- und die Steuerleinen einen andere Länge. Also irgendwas haut da hinten und vorne nicht hin. Eigentlich müßten sie ja alle gleich lang sein.

Jetzt die eigentliche Frage:
Können die, die eine 2008er Bar haben mal nachgucken wie die fünfte und die Depowerleinen verlaufen? Sind die irgendwo noch mal fest zusammen? Wie sieht es an der Stelle aus, wo sich die Depowerleinen und die fünfte nach oben hin aufteilen?

Hat das vielleicht sogar jemand im Kopf? Wäre für jede Antwort dankbar.

Du hast recht, sie müssen gleichlang sein, wenn du die Bar voll angepowert hast, also z.b. im microhook eingehängt hast. Überprüf doch mal ob das so stimmt. Ansonsten bekommst du auf der NKB Homepage das Manual von der 08er Bar. Da müsste doch eigentlich das Leinensetup dabei stehen.

Hey Harald,

ja auf der North-Seite war ich schon, leider konnte ich da in dem Manuel nix finden was mir wirklich weitergeholfen hätte. Ich weiß einfach nicht, wie ich es an der fünften und an den Depowerleinen zusammenbauen muss, damit es passt.

Vielleicht ist das Umrüstset auch für eine 25 Leinenlänge gedacht und ich habe eine 27 Leinenlänge an der Bar. Das würde dann alles erklären.

Könnte vielleicht mal jemand gucken, wie genau die fünfte Leine und die Depowerleinen laufen? Kurze Beschreibung dazu würde mir völlig reichen.

2008 EVO Kite Bar Upgrade Kit Replacement guide:

Step1:
In order to upgrade your Standard EVO 4-Line Bar with the EVO Bar 5th Line Kit you have to lay out your bar and lines first. Also unroll all lines from the Upgrade Kit and separate all bridles. Untie the front lines B1 by opening the loop up and pull the lines all the way trough until they are separated. Untie both B4 front lines from the Enter Safety Line B11. Afterwards you can connect both B4 lines again!
Proceed to disconnect the Enter Safety Line B11 from the Iron Hard B.

Standard EVO 4-Line Bar


EVO Bar 5th line Upgrade Kit


Step2:
Now we need following pats:
- Both front lines B1 red and black.
- The white front line B4.
- The metal ring
- The 2,5m long and 4mm wide, white line U5
- One small red stopper ball

Slide both B1 front lines over the white front line B4. Slide the metal ring also over this line as it is shown in the picture.
Attach the small red stopper ball to the line U5.
Make sure, that the wide stopper ball opening shows to the U5 knot.
Then feed the white line U5 trough the metal ring.


Step3:
Feed both B1 front lines trough the B4 loop. Pull the front lines all the way until they are tight.
Then lay out these two front lines as you would normally lay out your kite lines


Step 4:
Now we need following parts:
- The long blue front line U6
- One small red stopper ball
- The loop end of the 4mm white line U5

First add the red stopper ball to the U5 line. Then slide the long blue front line U6 over this line as it is shown. Pull the U6 line all the way down trough the U5 loop and make it tight.


Step 5:
Attach the short blue U2 line above the knot from line U5 by using a loop.


Step 6:
Attach the other end of the blue U2 line to the highest knot on red Enter Safety Line B11.


Step 7:
Feed the other end of the red Enter Safety Line B11 trough the Vario Cleat pulley B5.


Step 8:
Feed the red Enter Safety Line B11 trough the bar hole.
Afterwards feed the line trough the Iron Heart as well.


Step 9:
Finally make a bowline knot to receive a solid loop.

Das nenne ich mal eine perfekte Anleitung.

Warum bekommt man sowas nicht gleich mit so einem "upgrade set" mitgeschickt?

Schau mal hier, wurde das gleiche gefragt.
Ist ziehmlich, naja sagen wir ot geworden.
