Do you feel like if you have untangle enough lines?
I have a suggestion for you In a 1 minute video:
https://youtu.be/8dy1SsGO6TA Home design / Quality control / hand finish and assembly by myself. Thanks to all who offer me a try on it helping me going further! I can now offer a little game regarding the incoming 1000th unit. Rider who will have it in his (her) order will gain (in addition to the order), as many kitecleat CRT (Carbon – Titanium) as the number of ordered unit(s). (Limited to 3 units, for a value of 99,70€ TTC). The only question could be: Are you too ready to change your habits?! In anyway, wish you all the best winds ! All details: http://kitesurfvoilier.fr/en Best regards, Sébastien |

Do you feel like if you have untangle enough lines?
Right,
But it could be a good thing in 30+ kts or on a boat to be able to release lines one after the other... And I also can't see the ceramic blades on those ones! |

Sortierst Du noch, oder fliegst Du schon? :)

I think Your product is not so bad, especially if someone additionally needs a line cutter. But maybe better if you can improve product to price value, would think it is possible to produce without to much iron parts and without carbon in every case and make it swim for a more attractive price.

Do you feel like if you have untangle enough lines?
Hi,
Nice one for line management function, I do also like yours but I want mine to be usable, helpful and reliable for the practice from the boat. So I need it to be strongly closed. And also strong if guiding my lines. I confess, I still have to make a better demo on that point. Still in progress... |

Hi Fuch123,
My Deutsche is not good enough to well understand you but yes, for line position management system you can also make knots between lines. That was just not the only one function I wanted to respond. I think it can't be a bad idea to get used to grasp and handle a cutting tool! |

So isses.

Hi MacKiter,
Sorry for the delay, 2 versions of it are floating, the ABX one (without ceramic blade) and the CRT one (with ceramic blade). And for the 1000th unit game, on the 31st of May, count was 978, good luck! |

Hi Scylla,
Even if I'm not able to really catch what you mean with the "rotationssymmetrisch" thing, I agree, for line management function, there are plenty of design solution even DIY ones that could easily do the job. And yes, seems that there is a (small) market for almost everything. I guess users of my tool like to being used to grasp and handle a line cutter but in fact, I confess, I don't really know. Grouping the 2 functions in one product was the main point of my design try but I understand it could be surprising... That's also why I had to protect the blade compartment (closed when action default) to be sure no cutting by mistake could occur. |

Hi Sébastien,
i like your Tool and I have the Carbon version of it. I was looking for a ceramic line cutter and the function seemed handy. So far ist was always good to have and lines were often ready to fly. But now Sand ist a big issue. Wet and sandy and then using it is really painful. I wash it out at the beach, but it does not run that smoothly. Is there a way to dismantle it for cleaning? |

Hi Fizzer,
Thanks for your feedback! I guess that you could always meet one day (depending of spots sand granularity) the bad size one that will be difficult to get out. All of it could of course be dismantle and cleaned with standard tools. The 2 little black parts, hide the screw. They are just dimensional fitted, no glue. You can raise it with a little screw driver, by the way, optional if you prefer without. It's standard Allen 1.5mm key and head of screw should be on the right side (that is the only one to be opened) when you see your kitecleat as a cross. Please let me know how it goes and sorry for the inconvenient. Sébastien |

Hi Fizzer,
No news from your side, I guess you manage the cleaning. Don't know if other people get such problems (don't hear so much about it) but please be aware that you could always send kitecleat back to me (just put it inside 1€ letter) and I'll remake it as new for you before sending back. I also offer refund to anyone having such problems in its homespot. In fact, I'm still working on it and I'm interested on any feedback. Thanks, Best regards, Sébastien |

Hi there,
sorry for not giving you feedback. Yes, I found the screws and could clean it. I was not often at sandy beaches after that, so there was no need later. Still like your tool. Maybe the kitchen clips do the line job, but intergrated cutter is a big plus. |

Hi Guys,
- Fizzer, thanks for your feedback! That was the point, offers to riders to be used to grasp and manipulate their line cutter by grouping the line manager and cutting function. But it is hardly understood... - Set and Floyd Rose, you probably have all your time and space on the spot to lie your lines, untangle, check their conditions,... But be aware it's not the situation of all riders on earth! And you could also do these checks when repacking you kite at the end of your session with less people on the beach and less hurry to be on the water! In fact it's same difference between a boiler and a pan. You could boil water with both of them. Boiler is just quicker and safer - so not hardly necessary. Everyone choice regarding usual spots conditions. But everyone could also do a kite trip one day... |
