dear Lars,

when you speak both german and english where are you from then ?

Having the edge pressed firmly in the water is depending on the power resulting from

the wind
the kitesize
the sharpness of edge
the shape of the board
your weight

If you have light to moderate winds and you are quite heavy and you are trying to ride wakeboards you have lost. You will loose a hell of hight.

If you use a twintip Kitebaord with a razored edge and a length optimized for your weigth and moederate winds (a long leading edge) it is possible for you to even win higth.

With normal wakeboards this would not be possible. I tested the X-Shooter and Bernd Hiss Carved kiteboards. These boards are very light in weight and really early planning. With these Boards it is possible for you have good sessions in moderate winds inspite of the fact the boards are not very big in size.

Bernie has shaped a board for me optimized for moederate winds and my driving style + weight. I like this board very much and I do not need another board.

Having a razored edge which is long enough it is even in strong winds no problem for you to control the kite and collect very much power before and for jumping.

I have never had boards which make jumping so easy and controllable.

If you had one session with one of these boards, you will never want another Board than these.

Maybe you will have a look:
