I am not sure about this written statement thing. That again sounds like a misunderstanding of the Rental Contract, that everyone signs when they take out a kite from Ben. It states that the customer has no right to sue Ben for injuries incured during kitesurfing, and that Ben (Flag Beach) takes not responsibilty for your actions. Maybe she misinterpreted what was writen there.
